cincan19Still ticked off at Verizon, and now it looks as if there will be no DSL for at least another week. *in withdrawl*
Anyway, I still have access at work! Thought I'd cheer myself up with this meme, taken from Al and Meg (too lazy to put their names in lj mode):
1. Can you cook? Yes, and I love it! I like to veg out in front of the Food Network, and I'm constantly trying Paula Deen and Rachael Ray recipes out on my family.
2. What was your dream growing up? To be a writer, as in having books published with my name on the front of 'em.
3. What talent do you wish you had? I'd like to be able to draw. My friend Beverly is a great artist and I love her talent.
4. Favorite place? That I have been? Hard to pick just one, but my favorite places seem to be wherever my bennetgirls sisters live!
5. Favorite vegetable? I love veggies! Yesterday I had a sweet potato!
6. What was the last book you read? "Draw One in the Dark" by Sarah A. Hoyt. Love it! Thanks, Sarah!
7. What zodiac sign are you? Sagittarius. Can't you tell? ;)
8. Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? I have two piercings in each ear. The first were my 13th birthday present from my parents, and the second pair I got when I had a part-time job at the Piercing Pagoda. And yes, I know how to pierce!
9. Worst Habit? I have to agree with the other moms. I have a tendency to either yell or get bitchy with my guys when I lose patience with them.
10. What is your favorite sport? I'm not crazy about any of them, tell the truth. I just joined a kickball team, though. I like to play water volleyball, too.
11. Do you have a Negative or Optimistic attitude? Even though I grouch and complain, deep down I am truly an optimist.
12. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me? If I was stuck in an elevator with myself, I'd be telling me to shut up.
13. Worst thing to ever happen to you? Gah! My losses seem so trivial! I think it must be seeing Derf break down when his dad died. My recent car accident comes in a close second.
14. Tell me one weird fact about you. I'm limited to just one? Ack! OK... I let my dog sleep in my bed. How's that for weird? She likes to lay on my head at the top of the pillow...
15. Do you have any pets? Two dogs, two cats and two guys.
16. Do you know how to do the Macarena? Yes, although you didn't hear that from me!
17. What time is it where you are now? 9:38 p.m.
18. Do you think clowns are cute or scary? I hate clowns - Sarasota has this clown thing where painted fiberglass ones are all over town, and I think they are hideous.
19. If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be? I would want a flatter butt.
20. Would you be my partner in crime or my conscience? Depends on the crime. ;)
21. What color eyes do you have? Brown.
22. Ever been arrested? No.
23. Bottle or Draft? Bottle, although I rarely indulge.
24. If you won $10,000 dollars today, what would you do with it? Pay bills and have a new roof put on the house. I'm so boring!
25. What kind of bubble gum do you prefer to chew? Anything sugar-free.
26. What's your favorite bar to hang at? I hang, but I don't go to bars. I don't drink, as a rule, and I am highly allergic to smoke. That takes care of it for me.
27. Do you believe in ghosts? Actually, yes. And there is one in my house, too.
28. Favorite thing to do in your spare time? Read, especially now since I am without my DSL. I have to say, my house hasn't looked this clean in a long time, though.
29. Do you swear a lot? I do, unfortunately, but I am trying to curb my tendency to blurt stuff like that out.
30. Biggest pet peeve? People who ignore their blackheads. Stupid, really, but I know a few people with them, and they just let them sit there! Ugh!
