Writer's Block: A political affair

I think we have a right to know about a politician's personal/romantic life as it relates to honesty. If he or she is hiding something in their personal life, what are they hiding in their professional life? Constituents need to have some faith in their elected officials, and that faith can go right down the drain if something, especially something scandalous, is being hidden from them.
